Fire Destroys Part Of GCB At Dzodze In The Volta Region


Fire has destroyed parts of Ghana Commercial Bank in the Volta Region,Dzodze to be precised

The fire was reportedly started around 6:45 pm on Monday evening, February 08, 2021, according to an eyewitness who spoke to Tastynewspoint ..

By late 7:20 pm, the fire went out of control and some onlookers run to the Dzodze fire service station to request for their usual support on the fire outbreak..

With the information gathered by the team, the Fire service personnel’s in Ketu North reportedly got to the fire station on time to rescue the entire dzodze township because there is a fuel station close to the bank where the incident took place..

As at that time the media was taking the info, the Ketu North Municipal  firefighters were seriously on the ground helping douse the fire that has so far destroyed nothing But a small portion of the building

They try everything possible to stop the blaze from spreading and also did their best to quench the blaze just for it not to get close to the fuel station.

It remains unclear what may have started/caused the fire.

The residents commends the ketu North fire service Commander and his  personnel’s for their swift and prompt responds to their calls.
